Paper Pumpkin August 2016: Botanical Blooms

Whoa NELLIE! This has been a CRAZY week! Because school started back up and I would have one less person in the house during the day, I had the crazy idea that it was time to paint the house. NOT my best decision! Well, the paint was a great decision, the timing? Not so much!!! Needless to say, we made it through the week, and the unscheduled illness (which I should have predicted! School=germ factory!!!) The painting is done, and I FINALLY have a case insert to share with you!

Before we get to it though, I want to apologize, because my original plan was to email this out to everyone who signed up on the ***NEW LIST*** right over there ---------------->
but since life happens, and I didn't get around to it, I'm going to do a ***GIVEAWAY*** instead!!!!! If you've already signed up on the NEW LIST, good news! you're already entered! If you haven't signed up yet, you have until 10AM Saturday (Sept. 3rd) morning to do so!

You'd think with all the organizing you, my friends, do with these case inserts, I'd be a little more organized than I am. Well, I'm organizing my leftover Paper Pumpkins this week and I'll be giving away a paper pumpkin refill kit! Maybe even two! Maybe even a full kit! Who knows??? You'll have to check back on Monday (September 5th) to find out! That gives me a deadline to get it all organized! :) Anyway, this giveaway is my little way to say thank you for visiting my blog, and for your GENEROUS comments! Give yourself a hug and a thank you from me!!! (And signup so you can win some Paper Pumpkin goodies!)

Oh! And something else exciting! My computer crashed and deleted everything (not exciting) so I had to start from scratch with the case inserts! The exciting part is that I think I fixed the sizing problem. It SHOULD fit perfectly now! You may notice a few other minor design changes, but nothing big. Please let me know if this size works better for you for printing! I'm hoping it does!

While I LOVE this stamp set, I wasn't in love with all the paper pieces in the kit, so I changed it a little, and came up with this, which I like a lot better:

I just stamped directly on the card base instead of the square piece of designer paper and die-cut it instead with the Leaflets Framelits Dies! I love it! Sometimes with the Paper Pumpkin kits, you might get a kit that you aren't in LOVE with, so think of it as a challenge to turn it into something you DO love! Whether it's a color change, a shape change (like this one for me!) a focal point change, a layout change, adding a layer, adding an embellishment, etc. etc. (you get the idea!)
